Audrey Moffitt is an artist and educator living and working in Brooklyn, NY. By day she works at a public middle school teaching art to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. In her studio, she primarily paints in oils but is always adding different mediums to her repertoire. As of late those mediums include ceramics, textile sculpture, and puppet-making. Inspired primarily by people, she captures the charm of both the weird and of the mundane through portraiture and brightly painted compositions. Everyone looks good in hot pink and traffic-cone orange.
